Be You

Hey guys. With the holiday season coming up soon, I am gonna be doing a lot of really cool things, but today I feel something a little different on my mind. Today this post will cover a large verity of things that teenagers deal with.  Mainly, it will be being yourself.

Let me start out by saying I am not miss popularity at school. I am different than a lot of the kids I go to school with. None of them know that I am Rebel. And I know what a lot of you might be feeling. I get made fun of sometimes. Someday I feel like I have no propose, but don`t we all? I know that high school and jr. high is a lot easier said that done. They are almost like there own little worlds. You have the populars, the jocks, the nerds, the outcast and those normal kids waiting for there big breaks. Most of us are those normals, waiting for a chance to shine.

Well, here is how you shine. BE YOU!!! I know this is Way easier said than done, but it is really important to be yourself.  You will be so much happier is you are not fake, but you. I get that its hard. Here are some simple tips to start being you:

Stand up for yourself!: Don`t let people walk over you and what you think. No matter what, at the end of the day, you are still on God`s team.

Get some REAL friends, who like you for you : Find people who wont judge you, and who love you for who you really are

Don`t be ashamed : I know its hard to not care what people think of you, but don't! If you have put you faith in Jesus Christ, you are FORGIVEN!!! How amazing is that! So live like it! Do what you know is right and don`t give a second thought about what other people think about you!

I hope you guys are being yourself in your schools, sports teams, youth groups and other things you are involved in. We will be ourselves together!

Election Day

Hey guys. Sorry I havnt posted in a few days. Sports jsut started up and things are getting a lot crazier. Ill try to post as much as I can.

Tuesday was a big day in our nations history. Election day. This was a very big election. We all know who won. Guys, here is what I have to say about this past election: God is still in control and none of this is taking Him by surprise. He will carry us through the next years.
But we also have a responsibility.We are to be respectful to those in authority ( Like those in office, congress, or Senate) Also, we need to be praying for those invovled in government, especailly the president, to make wise descions and to have strength through the next four years. This is what God has commanded us to do.

New Project: Beth

Hey guys! Here is the first of the people who helped with the new project. I ask Beth a series of question and here they are:

1.When did you first get saved ?
         age 9, at church, with my family
2.Have you been to any activities or places that have helped you grow in your faith?
           AWANA
3.OPTIONAL: Do you have a devotional you use? And if so, what?
              No

4.What was something that happened to you that helped you grow in your faith?
           I had depression because I didn't feel wanted, but I started reading my Bible and it helped so much. Also prayer.
5.What is your favorite verse and what does it mean to you?
            Revelation 3:8-10. I heard it on the movie Facing the Giants and it really spoke to me. God is in control. If you haven't seen that movie I recommend it (:
6.What advice do you have for the others looking at this blog?
           Read it! Rebel has some good words of wisdom. And allow God to save you before it's too late. No one wants to get left behind and end up living in the Tribulation. It'll be scary.

How can you help?

Christians can have such a huge impast in others lives in pretty simple ways. If you know someone if hurting, here are somethings you can do.

• Listen to them. ( I know you think they might want you to give them advice, but first you just need to listen)
• Give advice that is helpful.
• Never say "I know how you feel" because odds are you don`t. Saying "I`m praying for you" or "God will never let you go" can be much more effective
• Pray for them
• Be kind to them
• If things get to a point where you think something bad is going to happen, tell an adult. You might just be saving thier life!

I hope you guys can go out there and help people who are stuggling. Soon I will start putting up the questions I have sent to people who contacted me about doing the new project. New Topic

Hey guys. This new topic is gonna be a little hard for some to read, and its even kinda hard for me to write, but its really important. Suicide. Its becoming something real now. Its happening more and more, and you might even know someone who had commited suicide or tried. I know one person who did, one person who tried, and two people who were thinking about it. Guys, its something real, even for Christians. But if you feel like whatever your going though is to hard, remember this.

• You were made in the image of God- Genesis 1: 26-27
• God values our lives- Psalms 139
• God cares for us- Psalms 103:13
• God loved you so much that he sent his ONLY Son to die for you- John 3:16
• God will never leave us- Hebrews 13:15
• God will never push you beyond what you can stand
• Even some of the greatest Bible heros wanted to commit suicide. Elijah wanted to when things got to hard. ( 1 kings 19:4) Abimelech is a lesser known one who wanted to be killed. ( Judges 9:24) Even Jesus wanted to die! Our very own Lord and Savoir had the same thoughts some of us had!!! Wow! ( Matthew 26:38)

Think about all of these. God loves you and will help you through anything. And there are people in your life who will talk to you. You can talk to me. Something New

Hey guys! I have had one person talk to me about doing the project! Awesome! Remember that if you are interested, you need to email me!

And, sometime very soon ( i am hoping either tommorow or the next day) I will put something on, that will be quite differant that what I normally have, but I think you will like it.
